Creative work inspired by the natural world
My life has always followed a path running closely beside the natural world, tracking along the wilder reaches of our landscapes, both here in the South West of England, and further afield, in the remote stretches of Eastern Europe. I find myself most at home out on the wide expanses of unfolding Moors. Delving into deep moss laden woodland and forests. Hidden rivers, caves and tunnels. Derelict buildings held open to the elements. Tangled meadows and unkempt gardens. The remains, the beginnings, and the emptiness in-between. The borders, the edges, the unknowing of what is beyond the treeline, the broken fences, the steep climb. These wild places and their precious inhabitants inspire my work as an artist and photographer, dreamer and creator.

My working and research background has often followed this instinct. I have worked alongside farmers and vets as a nurse, incredible horse men and women in both natural and classical horsemanship, as a wildlife rehabilitator. Following a B.Sc. Environmental Research Management, and extensive time in Romania, my work prioritised traditional land management practises, most specifically, wildflower meadows.

This website will be a platform for me to share with you my creative processes and final pieces, alongside a new blog that will introduce some of my journeys, and the wild characters within. I hope that you enjoy. Thank you x

“Introspection is a devouring monster. You have to feed it with much material, much experience, many people, many places, many loves, many creations, and then it ceases feeding on you.”
